The first day of Bangla calendar heralds the traditional New Year in Bengal.  A day celebrated with happiness and joy of a new year and of a new beginning. The on ground event was held on the 3^rd of April, at Kalamandir, Kolkata, the telecast was on the 12^th April at 1900 hrs.
